The Labor Code of the Russian Federation does not provide direct instructions on the content of job descriptions. At each enterprise, they are developed taking into account the specialization. As a rule, a standard sample is taken as a basis, which includes 4 main categories:

General information.

Required knowledge and job responsibilities.

Rights and responsibilities.

Relationships.

Some companies introduce additional sections. For example, requirements for qualifications, length of service, subordination, rules of communication with the manager, etc.

General section

It is important here to list the required amount of knowledge and skills that must correspond to the employee's functions, listed in the next section.

General section

The section of the instructions “Working hours” contains information about the work schedule, taking into account:

shift duration;

work overtime and on weekends;

shifts, etc.

If this information is reflected in the employment contract, it is not necessary to duplicate it.

Job responsibilities
This is the main section that requires special attention during development. It lists the employee's functions, fixed in the employment contract in accordance with Article 57 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. In companies of different sizes and specializations, the list of responsibilities, especially additional ones, can vary quite significantly.
