If you have an influencer’s email address

Post by shaownhasan »

Here’s another example of outreach: chile b2b leads Justine worked with LinkedIn’s Women in Sales group two years in a row. They created a list called the “100 Most Powerful Women in Sales.” First, they conducted a survey and identified 100 women to put on the list. They then wrote a 10,000-word blog post profiling all 100 women. After publishing the blog post, they contacted all 100 women. They contacted those who had emails directly. For those of you who don’t have email, Justin is connected privately on LinkedIn.

If you don’t have the influencer’s email address, you can send them a friendly LinkedIn message explaining the good news and asking for the best email address to contact them. Most people are willing to participate when you reach out to them on LinkedIn. In Justin's experience, only about 5-10% of people don't respond. People who don't respond are usually well-known people you haven't contacted yet, or have someone else managing their account.

Don’t be surprised if your campaign gets an overwhelming response! Many people appreciate this recognition and will be happy to share this good news with their networks.

Justin found that people frequently updated their profile titles to include this endorsement. Instead of simply stating their title, like “Founder of {Company},” they’ll add “Inducted into the 100 Most Influential Women” or something similar. This is because being included in such a list is a recognition of them and their work. Feeling like winning an award and showcasing this achievement is good for their brand credibility on the platform.
