A increases adaptability and resilience: Exposing yourself to changes and knowing new trends helps you face challenges in a more experienced and informed way. Training allows you to stay up to date, learn about other people's experiences and know why they have made the decisions they have made, and identify improvements.
It generates an entrepreneurial mindset:If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you must cultivate your mindset. The entrepreneurial mindset is a restless mind that identifies opportunities, takes calculated risks, overcomes obstacles and endures ups and downs. But this way of thinking is not a condition per se, it is developed with training.
At Simón de Cirene we support entrepreneurs in traditional sectors. Most of the ventures are small stores, flower shops, construction jobs, or belong to the gastronomy and/or food sector, among others, led by people who have had little access to formal studies and training.
To counteract this reality, from our corporation we offer free training courses in different areas such as applying for funds, creating companies in one day, strategies, project evaluation, marketing, among others. You only have to register with your name and email on the same website. This series of courses is associated with Corfo's “Entrepreneur's Journey” and is designed to connect you with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, expand your contacts, improve financing opportunities, among others.
We often think that successful business owners forged their brand on a brilliant idea that ended up materializing into a prosperous project. This may be the case for some ventures, but it is certainly not the case for the majority. The path or journey that an entrepreneur takes is full of ups and downs that are better overcome when you have the tools and the necessary support to be able to turn that difficulty into an opportunity.
The majority of entrepreneurs who come to our corporation do so taiwan number example because they need to grow their businesses. They come with dreams of achieving their goals in order to make their work profitable and, in this way, be able to support their families.
They are persevering, hard-working, resilient people and they face life with great determination. They are the people who know the most about their business, and most of the time they are alone on the path of entrepreneurship and a large part of them have never been trained or qualified in the activity they do.
This is also confirmed by the Seventh Microentrepreneurship Survey (EME 7, 2023), carried out by the Ministry of Economy and the INE, which indicates the existence of nearly 2 million micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in our country, within which nearly 75.2% of microenterprises declare that they have never been trained in the activity they carry out. A fairly high figure, when as a corporation we know that with the right knowledge and practices, ventures can scale.
But why is training important and how can entrepreneurs benefit from it?
Develop skills: Training gives you the skills to identify business opportunities, develop a solid business plan, manage resources and make the best decisions for your business. Training promotes good management so that our beneficiaries have sustainable organizations over time.
Increase your network of contacts or networking: The more you open the spectrum in the ecosystem, the more opportunities you have to meet its actors. Networking can provide you with more reliable data, advice and collaborations between people who are on the same path as you.
