RUMBO AND 24/7 REAL MEDIA SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO OPTIMIZE

Rumbo has signed an agreement with 24/7 Real Media, a digital marketing firm belonging to the WPP group, under which Rumbo will use the “AdServer” advertising insertion control system, Open AdStream, which allows the management and optimization of the impact of any campaign on the web.

This system, together with the recent adaptation of the portal to standard IAB formats, will allow Rumbo's new Commercial division to professionally manage advertising campaigns, in terms of bc data mexico implementation, control and monitoring, collecting all relevant information on contacts obtained and "click throughs" generated, which represents a clear advance for the campaigns of different advertisers carried out on Rumbo's media.

According to Carlos González, Commercial Director of Rumbo: "For Rumbo.es, the agreement with 24/7 Real Media means the professionalization and optimization of the portal and its associated sites as advertising media, which total more than 6,000,000 unique visitors per month and more than 45,000,000 monthly page views."

Rumbo closed the 2008 financial year with a turnover of over 400 million euros and an increase of over 20% in the volume of passengers transported. The company, owned equally by Telefónica and Orizonia Corporación, acquired Viajar.com and Terra Business Travel at the beginning of 2008. At the end of 2008, Rumbo launched Rumbo Negocios - a new line, aimed at guaranteeing companies cost savings on business trips of up to 30%, with a service adapted to their needs.
