Google announced its Marketing updates on Tuesday, May 21 (yesterda vietnam email address y, at the time of publishing this).
Last week, Google invited me to learn about these new developments. Those who follow me on social media already knew about this gossip. If you don't follow me, then don't.
As you might guess, many of these innovations have to do with Artificial Intelligence (AI). I'm going to tell you about the ones that caught my attention the most, and the ones that apply most to Personal Branding, since I'm a Personal Branding mentor.
1. Image editing.
One of the most annoying things about making a good post, specifically when you're going to advertise, is having a good image. The photo is cut off, my product doesn't look pretty, the background is really bad... and so on.
Well, not anymore! Now, directly in the Ad Manager you can edit images and put them just the way you want them. You can remove the background and put another one. By writing something as simple as “put it on a wooden table, with sunset light.” You can add objects, remove others… in short. The limit is your imagination.
That will save you a ton of time and money.
2. Three-dimensional images.
This is one of the ones that really struck me. It's a crazy thing. If you take photos of your product from multiple angles, Google can turn it into one of those images that you can rotate with your mouse —or with your finger, depending— and see the product from above, below, behind, and from the sides. I'M OUT!
That, in addition to making you look like the most professional store on the planet, greatly enriches the customer experience and can increase sales, which, in the end, is what we all want.
3. Appear in Artificial Intelligence summaries.
Some context: I don't know if you've seen that when you search for something on Google, before the results it shows you a summary that is automatically generated with AI.
Well, now your products (you must have them on Google Shopping) and ads (Google Ads) can also appear there. Without you having to configure anything strange. The AI will do that for you. Awesome!
4. Videos of your products.
