Atiyar Rahman Khulna Office: Jamaat Shibir cadres are reorganizing in Khulna Dumuria in Khulna-5 constituency in the run-up to the 11th National Parliament elections. Dumuria Upazila of Khulna was once identified as a sanctum sanctorum of terrorists in a bloody township.

The candidates believe that the election may be held in December or January. Therefore, they are continuing to try and lobby the central high command for the party's nomination.
Khulna-5 constituency consists of 18 unions in Dumuria and Fultala upazilas. There are 3,58,259 total voters here. Dumuria, the largest upazila in Khulna district, has 14 unions, with a voter population of 2,43,259, and Fultala upazila, consisting of 4 unions, has a voter population of 1,15,000.
It has been reported from various reliable sources that Jamaat Shibir cadres are preparing for major subversive activities.
Meanwhile, despite the increase in Jamaat Shibir's activities, it has been alleged that the administration has not taken any action so far.
Sources say that several leaders and activists of Jamaat Shibir in areas 7 Shobna, 4 Khornia, 5 Atlia under Dumuria police station are out of the police's reach. Secret meetings of the terrorist Jamaat and Shibir are going on secretly. When the 4-party alliance was in power, ordinary people used to flee from the persecution of some Jamaat Shibir leaders.
