If you publish and the community does not react

Post by Irfanabdulla1111 »

If you stop to think about it, it is quite normal for this to be the case because this social network has been the majority one in the entire world for many, many years now.

As a company, we can say that there was a before and after when Facebook went public, back in May 2012.

There we can say that Facebook began to grow up, by force, thanks to (and because of) its investors, who had to be satisfied with money, not with promises of relevance.

This is where Facebook really began to develop its advertising system " Facebook Ads " and its algorithm, which it has been perfecting over the years.

In 2018 alone we have had two algorithm changes, the first one at the beginning of the year, right in January, and then another one that started giving signals in April.

Both algorithm changes (and those to come) tend to focus on limiting the reach of business pages and prioritizing content from users' friends and family.

As Community Managers usually manage company pages, Facebook's instructions are clear.

If you want to show your content to more people, you pay for Facebook Ads.

Yes, I know this can be very hard and your Facebook page statistics can go quite low, so I would like to go deeper:

Key points of the Facebook algorithm
Facebook's algorithm actually has a very simple basis and knowing it will help you make it work in your favor:

Facebook is more likely to show content from friends and family versus Pages.
Facebook is more likely to show content from groups than from pages.
For page content , the more interactions a user has had with that page, email list of switzerland businesses the more likely Facebook is to show the content.
The overall scope then changes, but the basic rules of the game usually remain the same.

Reading a little deeper into these three basic rules, we can draw several conclusions about Facebook's algorithm:

1.-, you will end up not appearing
That's clear.

If when you publish an update you see that you have fewer and fewer interactions, either you change your editorial plan and try new things that move the community or you will end up disappearing completely.

This is because if the community doesn't interact with your content, the next time you release something it will have a lower chance of appearing on their timeline.

This, if extended over time, can lead to what is known on Facebook as “ Organic Death ”, which is nothing more or less than publishing a post and having virtually no one see it organically.

It's much more serious than you imagine.

In my experience I have seen pages with over 400,000 fans having a reach of less than 1,000 users.

Come on, a ruin.

And, if you want to solve it, the only option at first is to start paying for Facebook Ads to improve your reach and, with that, start to show yourself little by little organically.
