There have been a lot of new features and changes on Facebook in the last year, so I decided to renew my online course Facebook for Business in 2022 , which already contains a lot of useful tips, but it will be refreshed and equipped with the latest information.
Many entrepreneurs struggle with what to post and which posts attract the right customers who will follow and like the posts.
In today's blog, I will share with you ideas for Facebook posts that are effective and work.
Most posts are made out of inspiration and necessity, rather than careful strategy and planning. This is how a page might have three posts one day, then none for a week.
I always advise my clients to prepare a monthly posting strategy, but if momentary inspiration strikes, there's nothing wrong with adding a post or changing the strategy.
To make it easier, I'll share with you the first 7 ideas for Facebook posts (7 more ideas in the next blog):
1. Ask a question and ask for advice
If you ask a question, you invite your followers to interact, but you just have to make sure they actually answer. So ask a question that requires a short answer. This idea for a Facebook post is great because, first, people love answering questions and helping solve problems. And second, if you ask a question that can help them solve problems too, they will be grateful for your help!
Some ideas:
What would you do if...
One of my followers asked me the following question..... Can you help?
I have to make a decision and I'm asking for your help...
What advice would you give to someone dealing with...
Bonus tip:
You can write a blog article from the responses you receive.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE:
2. Complete the sentence
I don't know why, but followers just love these types of posts. Use a sentence advertising agencies email list with a missing word at the end and invite your followers to write down the first word that comes to mind.
Some examples:
"I'm so close to becoming successful if I could only ________________"
"Right now, the thing that's bothering me the most is _______________"
"Happiness is ______________"
"If a goldfish granted me one wish today, I would wish for ____________"
3. Publish a survey
Some ideas for surveys or questions:
What is your biggest challenge?
What products would you like us to offer?
What strategy worked best for you when you got to the ____ _ _ __ website?
What are your favorite tools or products to help with ___ _ _ _ _ __?
What is the number one problem you are currently facing?
Bonus Strategy: If you’ve collected data from a survey or Q&A that your audience would find interesting, share the results in a separate Facebook post. You can also use the results of your Q&A or survey as a free opt-in!
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE:
4. Post useful short video tips
Post simple and very practical video tips.
Some examples:
3 things you can do today to improve your Linkedin profile
The #1 tool you can download today to increase your followers
A simple trick to close more sales
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE:
5. Post something personal
Don't be afraid to post a personal photo or story from time to time. It can even be a personal story that carries a life lesson.
Some ideas:
A photo from a recent vacation.
A funny story about your children or pet.
An unusual/common/interesting encounter you experienced.
Seasonal photos or videos (e.g. photos from a Christmas party)
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE:
6. Live Q&A
Invite your followers to ask you the business questions they care about most, then set aside half an hour to an hour to answer them.
7. Recommend a favorite book or blog
Have you read a great book? Share your excitement and post a few key quotes that inspired you.
