Two colleagues, let's call them Vasily and Vladislav, are rivals, because they both strive to occupy the highest position in the company. Each of them, as soon as the opportunity arises, tries to get ahead of the other in their success, believing that this is how career growth occurs. Putting in a lot of effort, both Vasily and Vladislav created unique projects, the implementation of which was carried out quite successfully. The work of both employees fully satisfied the requirements of the management, since the company was actively developing.

But one day, a new director came to replace the manager, who had not yet learned about the rivalry between the employees, and assigned Vasily and Vladislav to work together on one task. Obviously, the project came to a standstill. Throughout the entire time, the colleagues were only trying to prove their superiority, and neither of them managed to move forward. So, the project is ruined, the manager is disappointed in his subordinates and makes unambiguous hints that he will easily find a replacement for both of them.

In order not to be left without physician database work, colleagues begin to work together. They are ready to put in maximum effort to successfully implement the project, and not to outdo each other in their achievements. Ultimately, Vasily and Vladislav realize that working together can also be comfortable and lead to a positive result. Having demonstrated the ability to work in a team, the specialists achieved promotion and now occupy management positions.

The main goal of those who adhere to the "win" strategy is to win in any case. And what result the opponent achieves is not important. Most often, such tactics are used if there is a sense of a lack of competition.

If your opponent is using a win-win negotiating strategy, you will be most effective in using a win-win negotiating tactic.

The use of the "win" strategy indicates that the negotiator is focused on winning and does not care at all whether the interests of others are taken into account. The tactic can easily transform into "win-lose" or "win-win" technologies.
