Unlimited
An important feature of Internet communications is that, unlike traditional media, they have no restrictions on the volume of information posted. Printed publications do not publish more content than their pages can accommodate. Television and radio are limited in terms of posting information by the airtime and broadcasting schedule (by the way: regional state television and radio companies cannot use the time of the parent organization broadcasting its own materials of federal significance). Advertisement blocks, like news releases, cannot last for hours, therefore, television and radio have restrictions on the volume of information broadcast.
Internet communications, unlike shareholder database traditional media, allow themselves to publish any amount of content. Online resources host virtually any amount of information (the possibilities are limited only by server capacity, which can be increased at any time if necessary).
Thus, a video portal often offers hundreds of thousands of videos, and an electronic publication is capable of publishing an unlimited amount of text information and photo materials. Online resources have a clear advantage over conventional media in terms of the capacity of media materials, which ensures high efficiency in organizing, for example, political party campaigns.
Efficiency
Offline media have their own schedule for publishing new issues (for example, some printed publications are published daily, and TV and radio programs can be broadcast at least every hour). In turn, the capabilities of Internet resources allow you to publish news and other information at any time.
Another feature of online materials is that any error or inaccuracy can be quickly corrected without much difficulty. Conventional media cannot boast of such efficiency. Moreover, printed publications, television and radio broadcasts are significantly inferior to online media in the speed of coverage of events that are developing very rapidly in the modern world. For example, an important government message on radio or television may appear only in the next news block. If we talk about printed publications, then such information may appear only the next day at best.
Efficiency
But on news sites, such messages appear almost every second. The difference in the speed of publications between traditional and online media is most pronounced in the context of important events that concern the entire society (for example, news about disasters, extremist actions, etc.). Internet communications make it possible to cover resonant news in real time. No one is surprised anymore that important information appears on relevant sites much earlier than on radio or television. What can we say about printed publications, which are distinguished by the least efficiency.
