Today we give the floor to the digital agency Quanted Square, founded in 2018 by two experienced developers. We interviewed one of them: Julien Leray. Summary

Can you introduce yourself in a few words and describe the agency?


My name is Julien Leray, I created Quanted Square with my partner Fabien in 2018. We are both experienced web developers. We started out as startups. First Qunb, specializing in big data, with whom we won LeWebParis in 2012. Bought in 2013 by Ve Interactive, a future-ex-unicorn of e-commerce optimization, we participated in the creation of the Data team. A few years later, we were approached by Roland Berger, the leading strategy consulting firm in Europe, to create the Digital & Data division.

Our knowledge and skills acquired from these unique experiences poland whatsapp lead have pushed us to create Quanted Square, to help companies develop their products, whatever the technical complexity.

In 2019, we joined the Techstars startup accelerator as “engineering associates” where we helped 10 startups with all their tech challenges: recruiting CTOs/developers, product development, pure programming, team process, etc.

How do you differentiate yourself from other agencies?
We bridge the gap between freelancers and traditional agencies.

As an agency, we carry out projects from start to finish, with a global product vision at a fixed rate. No technical team to manage. As with freelancers, you speak directly with the experts and the "doers", without intermediaries or tickets, and we demonstrate real flexibility.

No bullshit. Say what needs to be said. Do what needs to be done. Clearly and without jargon.

You are not entering a machine but a real relationship between an entrepreneur and an expert.

What advice would you give to a project leader who is comparing different agencies?
In my opinion, there are 3 essential points to check before choosing an agency:

She does not subcontract: the fewer interlocutors there are, the healthier and more effective the relationship. Check carefully who the executors and your real future collaborators are, not just those present during the sales phase of the project.
Challenge your ideas and develop your vision: An agency that questions certain points of your project from the beginning is a good sign. It means that there is ownership and real reflection, not just a desire to sell at all costs.
She has recognized expertise: Technologies evolve a lot and quickly. Proposing the most effective and recent solutions requires constant monitoring work combined with a pragmatic and analytical mind. It is difficult to distinguish between good and bad technical choices, even more so to have a critical eye when you do not have the training for it.
