Over the years, e- commerce penetration has grown exponentially in all countries and sectors.

Brands are spending more and more money and effort to promote purchases through this channel, which has gone from having static and slow-moving pages to becoming transaction-generating machines.

In 2019, it was estimated that e-commerce worldwide would generate revenues of up to 3 trillion dollars, representing 12.8% of total retail sales.

E-commerce today
The global coronavirus pandemic brought operations to a near standstill across multiple industries in all countries . However, it also initiated an accelerated process for brands to consolidate their e-commerce channels.

However, there was also a similar increase in positive sentiment.
In 2020, negative sentiment increased by 25% compared to the previous year, while positive sentiment decreased.
